Grand Line Spin is a free, browser-based One Piece fan game with two ways to play: the Grand Line Crew builder and Build the Pirate King. Both are quick to learn, endlessly replayable, and work great on your phone. Here's how each one works.
π΄ββ οΈ Mode 1 β Grand Line Crew
In the crew builder you draft a ten-member pirate crew by spinning the ship's wheel, sailing to a random arc or era, and recruiting one "Wanted" pirate at a time. The goal is to assemble the strongest, most synergistic crew possible and earn a high Crew Rating out of 1000.
Step by step
- Spin the wheel. Each spin sails you to a random arc or era β from East Blue all the way to Elbaf, plus flashback sagas like God Valley and the Roger Era.
- Recruit a pirate. Every arc shows a grid of "Wanted" poster cards. Tap one to slot that character into an open crew role. Specialists (Captain, Swordsman, Navigator, and so on) must match the role they're built for; the three Fighter slots accept any true combatant.
- Auto-spin onward. Each pick automatically spins you to the next role. Don't like the bounties on offer? You get one Skip per run to re-roll the era.
- Use the role filter. Tap the filter chips to hunt for exactly the role you still need.
- Set Sail. Once all ten roles are filled, hit Set Sail to reveal your Crew Rating and verdict.
How the crew is scored
Your rating rewards more than raw power. The scoring system adds up:
- Raw power β the combined strength of your ten members.
- Crew synergy β a bonus for stacking multiple members from the same faction (Straw Hats, Whitebeard Pirates, Marines, and so on).
- Captain bonus β for seating a genuine captain in the captain's chair.
- CaptainβFirst Mate duo β a big bonus when your Captain and First Mate come from the same crew.
The final number is shown as a Crew Rating / 1000, with verdicts ranging from East Blue Rookies up to π King of the Pirates. Reaching King is deliberately rare β you'll need power and tight synergy.
π Mode 2 β Build the Pirate King
The Pirate King mode is a strategy-and-luck attribute game. Instead of filling crew roles, you spin for individual legends and assign each one to a single attribute, chasing a perfect build.
- Spin for a legend. Each spin lands one character, weighted by rarity β from Common all the way up to Mythical. The strongest characters are far harder to land.
- Assign an attribute. Slot the legend into one of ten attributes (Strength, Speed, Haki, Devil Fruit, Swordsmanship, Durability, Intelligence, Leadership, Battle IQ, Crew/Allies). You keep that character's value for that attribute, so place each legend where they shine.
- Picks are locked. Once you assign an attribute it can't be changed β every choice matters.
- One Skip. Don't like who you landed? Use your single Skip to re-roll. Each character can only be used once.
Fill all ten attributes and your Pirate King Score / 1000 is revealed instantly, with tiers from Rookie up through Supernova, Yonko, Emperor, and finally Pirate King. A flawless 1000 is astronomically rare by design β even a perfect strategist needs extraordinary luck.
